It is the only bra, post same-side double lumpectomy, that is both comfortable and supportive; and doesn’t set off my lymphedema. An extra pad tucked in on my smaller side evens the girls out! Thank you!!!

I am healing from breast cancer surgery in which I had a double mastectomy. I bought two Handful bras, one in small , the other in medium. I mostly wear small t-shirts. This is the small which i got in pink. I love it so much that I plan to use it as a bathing suit to top!
What I love most about the Handful bras are the pads, which are absolute best for creating a low profile breast image under clothes. In this photo, I'm wearing 2 pads, which gives me an A cup size. With 3 pads, I'm a small B.
A design feature I LOVE about the pads is they're labeled right and left and even have little markings so we don't get them in upside down or sideways.
The the fabric could be a smidge softer. That's my only complaint. The texture reminds me of bathing suit material.

I've been wearing handful bras since 2012 and have them in many different colors to mix and match. They are my favorite! I've tried many different sports bras on the market but the handful adjustable bra is by far the most flattering I've found without sacrificing function or durability. These bras really last!

I had a double mastectomy almost two years ago and was looking for a bralette/sports-type-bra to wear with clothes so my absence of boobs isn't too noticeable. The surgery also did damage to my psyche, thinking that I didn't look "womanly" any longer. I spoke to a lovely and super helpful woman, Cary, via email to answer my questions about size and which style would best suit me. I ordered the Adjustable Handful Bra in both a small and a medium. My chest size is 34 inches, but I wanted this bra to be a little tight. Both fit great! They're very well made, super cute and make me look like I have boobs again! I will certainly be buying more in the future. Thank you Handful, for your excellent product, helping improve my self-esteem AND your commitment to helping breast cancer survivors, like me!

I’m very picky about Bras. I don’t like wearing them because they always feel like they are cutting into me. I have a wide rib cage but not a big cup size so it’s hard to find bras that fit well. I was very pleased with how this bra feels and it’s very well made. I will be buying more! :)

I had high hopes based on reviews, but did not find it better than other similar bras. I wore it on an 8 hr hike, 2 hour run, and one day of just general wear. I wish the straps were wider, that really killed this bra for me. The thin straps dig in and are uncomfortable, even on the loosest setting. The bra feels more compressive than other similar bras, which was great for hiking, but the straps got really uncomfortable as the day went on. Adding pressure of a backpack over it pushed the straps deeply into my skin and I had marks for several hours after taking it off. It's not nearly supportive enough for running in my opinion. Tightening the straps just made it pull up under my breasts so that I was constantly pulling it down. The best option was daily wear, but again, the straps hurt after awhile and the compression was a bit much for me to wear all day. The colors are nice and I like the mission, but I won't be buying more.

I love this bra! So much, that I'm ordering a second one and a couple for gifts. I have a larger bust (32E) and this offers plenty of support for high impact activities. The front zip is another bonus so I don't have to squeeze it over my shoulders. Thanks Handful for creating yet another great sports bra!

January 2020 I had a single mastectomy from breast cancer. I found this site when I was looking for ways to recover and move forward with bras. The care and thoughtfulness and donations to breast cancer that goes into the bras in particular, made me cry. The pads have saved me because I had reconstruction, but one side is always about a size smaller and they pads, the thick ones, make me feel like I look less disfigured and over time have given me confidence to get out of really baggy shirts. It has almost been 2 years since then and the 3 styles of bras I bought I love. They are well made and got a lot of wear and tear the last year through lockdowns!
I love this bra for fooling around on light hikes and on the weekend. I found the thinner straps I didn't like as much for workouts, but I have small breast, so it wasn't weight. But that is ok, it is one less washing for the bras I like for work outs! I also got the Y-back and the Double Down for comparison.

I’ve been wearing Handful bras for distance running and walking for a few years now. They consistently remain my go-to sport bra because I can get into them - and easily out again when I’m sweaty. And they do what a girl needs them to do! This year, when I did a major refresh of my running bras, they still come out on top. And the colors are great!

My bff bought me my first handful bra, a limited edition print that I love… and I use it as a bikini top! Just bought the pink one and I’m going to buy a black one soon too! I use mine with regular bra inserts or none, not the “boosters” that come with. Personal choice.

I love love love this bra. So much so that I returned the one I tried and found too tight for the yoga I do and ordered another in the same transaction. I love that the cups are removable and retain their shape so well too. And the adjustable straps alone will keep me coming back.
I have had issues finding sports bras with straps that fit. And for a yoga perfect sports bra, I appreciate that I still have two breasts while wearing. It keeps finding its way to my daily life. Thanks to Insta @Adrianawithanuh for the recommendation.
