Since 2006, Handful has been crafting sports bras that honor how you move, live, and feel. Born from the hearts and minds of Jennifer Ferguson and three visionary women in Portland, Oregon, we began with one beautiful idea: women deserve better. Today, our collection is worn and adored by a community of women who've discovered what true comfort feels like.

Available online and in boutiques nationwide, Handful is a woman-owned brand that sees you—all of you. We design for every curve, every confidence, every version of beautiful. Our guiding star, the "Handful High Five," reflects five values close to our hearts: Fashion, Function, Feel, Fun, and FIGHT—a tribute to breast cancer survivors and our ongoing commitment to their journey. Pads are our superpower

All Handful bras feature a hidden pocket that can accept our custom designed, removable, stackable Lights-Out Pads. These versatile, washable, non-silicone pads can be used to build, shape, balance or replace volume lost to surgery. Each bra comes complete with an included set while additional pads can be purchased separately.

Meet our founder

Necessity may be the mother of invention, but it was Montanan Founder and CEO Jennifer Ferguson who turned that necessity into the Original Handful Bra in 2006. A busy mom and fitness instructor, Jennifer couldn’t find a bra that could keep up with her active lifestyle—so she created one. Handful became her third "child," named after her father’s nickname for her: “She’s a handful.”

Starting a business from scratch wasn’t easy, but Jennifer didn’t go it alone. She teamed up with three brilliant women—Tina Thede, Jody Filkins, and Cary Kim—who shared her passion and drive. Together, they’ve built Handful into a brand that empowers women to "Grab Life by the Handful™."
