I chose the Double Down bra because of the additional coverage and the back detail. I have been wearing the bra in my hot yoga class and when hiking. It’s very comfortable during activity, easy to pull on and off. I’ve washed it multiple times in cool water and hung to dry. I especially appreciate the removable pads included with the bra, since I have had a mastectomy. I am very pleased with the bra.

I wanted to try this bra as an alternate to the Game Time bra because , the adjustment fasteners on the straps of the Game Time bra get twisted more vertical, causing the metal adjustment guides to dig in become uncomfortable. I was hoping the straps on the Double Down bra would work better since it doesn’t have the metal adjustment hardware. Unfortunately, the small double straps are not comfortable and are a nuisance. Therefore, I sent this bra back. On both these bras, I love the wide rib cage band, support and fit, just wish they could use a strap similar to the width of the game time bra, with no adjustment hardware. That would make it pretty much perfect.

I freaking love this bra! As a 38D, it was great to find a fun bra that is strappy and supportive for hiking, biking and weightlifting. Easy to wash and hang to dry overnight.

I’m a 34d and the size med works great! I can fit a small but it’s too tight in upper back. I have these in so many colors and they are the most comfortable out of all the handful bras. Love that the cups are removable also

Love love love! This might be my new favorite Handful bra! If you're larger chested I wouldn't recommend for running but I was able to do jumping Jack's in it! Super comfy and flattering!

Same great quality of product, but I wear 1 size up in this one. A little tight and I wore it for a whole day, but by the end, couldn't wait to get it off. I wear Handful bras 90% of the time and always size L. The Double Down should be XL. I realized this one may have been too tight because I'm tall and have a long torso. The straps don't adjust like on my others. I'll hand it down to my daughter and order again. I love the thinner pads.

This particular bra fits much bigger in the band. I've exchanged it for a small and hope that it works, as I absolutely love all of my other Handful bras.

I wrote earlier about trying both medium and large in three styles. Unfortunately I can’t wear the double down in medium as I originally thought. The band size is perfect, but the cup size is still small (for DD/DDD, which it is not designed for). The straps were very tight on my shoulders. I’d recommend this style to anyone in the size range it is designed for. It’s soft and supportive and adorable.

Based on the size chart on the website, I ordered a LG. Once I tried the item it was too small & I was super disappointed as I had already removed the tags.

I think the bra is cute but after one wash the straps have elastic fibers fraying out everywhere. I have sports bras that have lasted years that cost less than this bra. I love the style and fit, I just wish it held up better.

I was so hopeful about this one! Sadly, it didn't work out for me. I'm just a weird size. According to the chart I should wear a size L, however the cups were too small for me. If I were to go up to an XL, the band and straps would be too large.
I have smallish shoulders and rib cage and I'm not overweight. I'm too old for breast reduction surgery and I'm soooo tired of wearing an underwire bra! Oh well. It was easy to return and I received my full credit very quickly.

Finally a sports bra that didn't chafe! Being a fluffier athlete it is hard to find a good fitting bra that doesn't rub, squeeze, or just make me uncomfortable. This is me after an 8 mile run and it felt so good! No sign of chafing at all!

This bra is soft and supportive. I love the thick band at the base and appreciate the removable cups. The only downside is that the straps at too short for me - I should have known because I have a long torso and need adjustable straps. The straps end up putting a bit too much pressure on my shoulders which over time makes them hurt. So if you have a long torso I suggest their adjustable strap bras.

Great great was looking for support for water sports and hiking and this is the perfect bra with fashion. My double D's have always discourage me from being fashionable now I just throw on a tank top over the sports bra and we're good to go.

As a breast cancer survivor with a bilateral mastectomy I found these bras to be comfortable and I appreciate the ability to stack the inserts to create a cup size . It’s so much more comfortable and lighter than a prosthesis . I just tossed my other bras away and going with Handful from now on.

I really wanted to love this bra! Unfortunately with natural DDD breasts it’s very hard to find anything without an underwire that doesn’t give me “uniboob”. The stitching in the middle just wasn’t enough to separate my breasts. Unfortunately I returned it and I’m still in the hunt for the p perfect sports bra.

This bra is super comfortable. I love the fit and feel. However, it is advertised for medium impact activities. I am a DD and would not wear it for anything more active than yoga or a walk.

I thought about ordering more than one when I first ordered style in Splash but wanted to try it out first. After I wore it all day, I went to order other colors but THEY WERE SOLD OUT! I completely know why. Besides the adjustable bra for lounging around, this double down bra is amazing for working out with strong support, (but not cutting off circulation) gardening, or even just looking for great support in a tshirt, this bra has sold out because obviously my opinion is not alone. The double down runs larger than the Y back, I've got 5 of the Y back and the same size didn't translate into the double down. Otherwise I love it!
